Denbighshire County Council is shutting sections of Llys Alwen and Llys Delyn to allow Scottish Power Energy Networks to carry out the necessary repairs.
The closure will commence on August 10 and is expected to last until August 14.
The council has stated that pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the duration of the works.
However, no alternative routes for vehicles will be available.
The specific sections of road affected include:
- Llys Alwen, extending westward from a point 15 metres east of its junction with Llys Delyn for a distance of approximately 30 metres.
- Llys Delyn, extending southwards from its junction with Llys Alwen for a distance of approximately 20 metres.
The order for the closure was officially announced on July 22.
Though the works are set to conclude by August 14, the order allows for an 18-month period, or until the works are completed, whichever is soonest.
