A MUM has made an emotional appeal for help after her 16-year-old son went missing during the family's first ever holiday together.
Rhys has gone missing from Talacre Beach Resort. The teenager was last seen on Sunday, July 19, at about 7.30pm.
Mum Siobhan reported her son's disappearance to the police and an appeal was made by the force on its social media channels on Monday, July 20.
North Wales Police confirmed Rhys is graded as a ‘high risk’ missing person and that "officers are out looking for Rhys and conducting inquiries".
Siobhan described the response and support from the Talacre community as "breathtaking"; the family are currently searching in and area the area with the community.

Rhys was seen on CCTV walking towards the end of the road at the resort. Siobhan said they are heading into the woodlands to search for Rhys.
She has also been supported by people from St Helens, where the family live.
Siobhan said: "The community here have been breathtaking and everyone who knows Rhys, and from St Helens, is here.
"The police are taking him as a high priority.
"I'm thinking, 'has he gone to get shelter? Is he hurt?'
"He loves drawing, gaming and he is very family-orientated. He is very close to his two siblings and is very passionate about what he likes.
"He is just everything."
Siobhan said Rhys, who she said has some "challenges", had become overwhelmed when he went missing.
"I suggested he went for a walk," she said.
"This is our first family holiday and we were having the best time.
"There is a reason he has gone and he is not back... there is a reason.
"It won't be his choice."
A statement from North Wales Police said: "Rhys is thought to be wearing a red T-shirt, shorts and black sliders and carrying a blue man bag.
"He has links to the St Helens area of Merseyside."
