Women's wellbeing festival welcomes 1,500 attendees

Womanifest 2026 took place at Cherry Orchard Farm in Northwich, Cheshire, drawing guests from across the UK and overseas for a weekend focused on confidence, wellbeing, and personal growth.

Lisa Williams, festival organiser from Rhyl, said: "Womanifest has never been about creating the perfect event.

"It's about creating a space where women and teen girls feel safe enough to be themselves, where they feel they belong, and where they leave believing in themselves a little more than when they arrived.

"Seeing women laugh, cry, dance, connect and step outside their comfort zones is exactly why we do what we do."

The event featured more than 150 experiences, workshops, talks, and performances, including sound baths, Reiki, wellbeing sessions, forest bathing, creativity classes, and more.

A surprise ABBA flash mob opened the festival, setting a joyful tone that continued throughout the weekend.

Live entertainment included comedy, music, dance, and performances by the Voices of Womanifest Choir, with new additions such as the Joy Stage.

Attendees also enjoyed lake dips, saunas, cold plunges, and a shopping village.

Many challenged themselves with empowerment activities such as the Fire Walk, Glass Walk, and Arrow Break Empowerment Walk.

This year marked the festival's most successful edition to date.

Sara Hughes, co-organiser and leader of several wellbeing experiences, said: "This weekend reminded me that growth begins outside our comfort zones.

"Watching women relax, reconnect with themselves and discover new confidence was truly special.

"It reinforced why wellbeing and community are so important."

Tracy Cawthray, another organiser, said the response had been deeply moving.

Ms Cawthray said: "The feedback we’ve received has been overwhelming.

"Reading every message and hearing the stories of confidence gained, friendships formed and lives positively impacted has been incredibly emotional.

"Womanifest is more than a festival — it’s a community where every woman matters."

Social media was filled with messages of gratitude from attendees, describing the event as a place where they felt accepted, inspired, and supported.

The festival also raised funds for its charitable partner, the She Inspires Foundation, bringing the total raised to £1,500.

This will support three schools in the UK and India to support girls’ wealth and wellbeing.

Planning is already underway for Womanifest 2027, which will return to Cherry Orchard Farm from June 12 to 13.
