Rhyl Carnival Committee has thanked everyone for their support after the town turned out in the sunshine.
Rhyl turned out in force as the 135th Rhyl Carnival delivered a blazing, joy-filled Saturday - even with last-minute changes caused by the heatwave.
In a statement after the event, the Rhyl Carnival Committee praised the community for making the day such a success.
"A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came along and supported the Rhyl Carnival Parade!
"Despite the heatwave, you turned out in fantastic numbers, creating an amazing atmosphere and making this year’s parade a wonderful success.
"We apologise for the slight delay to the start of the parade.
"Thank you all for your patience and understanding – it was greatly appreciated.
"A special thank you goes to all of our participants, volunteers, sponsors, emergency services, marshals, and everyone who helped make the event possible.
"We hope you had a fantastic day, and we can’t wait to welcome you back next year for another unforgettable Rhyl Carnival.
"See you in 2027!"

In blistering sunshine, families lined the streets to welcome the annual parade and soak up one of the town’s longest-running community traditions.
Crowds arrived armed with hats, water bottles and plenty of sun cream, determined to make the most of a classic Rhyl summer’s day.
The soaring temperatures meant the dog show and other animal attractions were cancelled for safety, with organisers urging caution in the extreme heat.
But the setback didn’t dampen the mood, and the parade rolled on with colour, music and a huge turnout.
The committee’s message capped off a day that felt both nostalgic and forward-looking - a reminder of how deeply the carnival is woven into Rhyl’s identity, and how much pride the town takes in keeping the tradition alive.
