A SEA of colour swept through Gwrych Castle as participants gathered for the return of the popular Colour Run.
The family-friendly 5K event, organised in partnership with St Kentigern Hospice, saw runners, walkers and supporters come together for a day of fundraising and fun against the backdrop of one of North Wales' most iconic landmarks.
Participants of all ages made their way around the course, passing through colour stations where clouds of brightly coloured powder transformed white T-shirts into vibrant displays.

The event welcomed people of all abilities, with organisers encouraging entrants to walk, jog, run or dance their way around the route while raising money and awareness.
Following the success of its inaugural year, organisers said they were delighted to bring the event back in 2026 "bigger, brighter and bursting with even more joy".
The grounds of Gwrych Castle provided a dramatic setting for the run, with participants enjoying the atmosphere as they took on the colourful challenge alongside friends and family.
Registration opened from 10am, with the run getting underway an hour later. Participants received a commemorative Colour Run T-shirt and race number as part of their entry.

Food and refreshments were available throughout the day from Caffi Caraid, helping to keep runners and supporters fuelled.
The event was organised in support of St Kentigern Hospice and other local charitable causes, with funds raised helping to support vital services across the region.

The hospice said: "Nothing inspires us more than seeing our community come together to do incredible things to support our hospice.

"To all of our 2026 Colour Run participants - thank you!
"You have done something incredible today. The sun was shining, the colours were flying, and the atmosphere was incredible.
"A huge thank you also goes to our amazing volunteers who make every one of our events possible. We simply couldn't do it without you.
"It was messy, it was hot, and it was a whole lot of fun!"
