A sweet, slightly shy corgi is looking for a quiet forever home where he can finally settle.
Louis, a four-year-old male corgi, came into Skylor’s Animal Rescue’s care through another rescue.
He had been in a home since December, but was returned through no fault of his own.
Staff describe him as a "very sweet lad who can be a little unsure of new people at first", but say that "with a bit of time he comes round quickly".
Louis is "lovely to walk on the lead" and is house-trained.
He loves his treats and his food, which should help with building a bond and continuing any training in his new home.
The rescue says he would "suit a quieter home, either as an only dog or living alongside another dog".
As Louis has not been cat-tested and the rescue cannot check him with them, they are looking for a home without cats or small furries.
They expect to add more information to his profile as they get to know him better, but say that "so far he is proving to be a very sweet boy".
Louis is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and treated for fleas and worms, and will leave with five weeks’ free insurance.
A home check and adoption fee apply, and Skylor’s offers lifetime rescue backup.
Anyone who would like to offer Louis a forever home is asked to fill in the online application form in full, including proof from a landlord if renting.
Successful applicants will receive an email, have a home check, and then be invited to meet him.
The rescue stresses that people should only apply if they "fully meet the criteria, are genuinely ready to give a dog a permanent home now, and are willing to travel to North Wales to meet Louis before adoption".
