A MAN on a quest to visit all of the UK's pubs and bars found himself in Rhyl this week and checked out all the haunts the town has to offer.
Dale Harvey, a former pub landlord from Nottingham, set off on a challenge to visit every pub in the UK about four years ago as part of "the Great British Pub Crawl".
Mr Harvey chronicles his trips on social media, sharing selfies outside the pubs he visits on a daily basis - you can se what he thought of the town here.
Of Rhyl, which is the first of a six-day day tour of North Wales, Mr Harvey said it gets "a bit of a bad rep", which peaked his curiosity.
He visited 21 pubs in the town, an impressive feat in just one day, stopping at popular establishments like Ffordd Derwen, Ellis Vaults, The Cob & Pen, The Sussex, Fairways and The Ember Lounge.
He said of the Rhyl crawl: "It was the first of my six day tour of North Wales and I headed over to the coast for a Tuesday tour of Rhyl, which gets itself a bit of a bad rep.
"But I'll tell you what, it's nowhere near as bad as people make out and I had a great day, found some great pubs and met some great people!
