What’s occurring? That's what people asked when actor, presenter and radio host Joanna Page was spotted browsing some of Llandudno’s charity shops — and viewers can now see exactly what she found, as the episode filmed in the town went live today.
Joanna visited Llandudno in October during filming for the new BBC daytime series Shift The Thrift, which sees two teams of contestants and experts racing against the clock to uncover top‑quality second‑hand treasures.
The items they find are then sold for profit in fast‑paced live‑streaming auctions, with the Gavin & Stacey favourite guiding viewers through the action.
During filming, the teams uncovered several standout pieces in the Hope House Tŷ Gobaith store, including a designer handbag and a silver brooch.

Assistant Managers Tracy and Jo were on hand to welcome the crews — and Joanna herself — as filming took place inside the shop.
The pair said the visit was a real highlight for the team.
Tracy and Jo said: “It was a great day and really one to remember.
“The crews and Joanna were all so lovely and we even helped out with a bit of filming.
“We’re proud of all our staff and volunteers for making the shop so beautiful on the day and glad the teams spotted some desirable items.”
Joanna also took time between filming links to pose for a photo with staff, adding to the excitement of the day.
With the episode now available to watch on iPlayer from today, viewers can tune in to see how the teams fared — and whether the Llandudno finds helped them secure a winning profit.
