A PROPERTY which was formerly the home of an ice cream parlour in Rhyl has gone on the market.

Unit SU2 at Marina Quay Retail Park, which is where Batch was situated, is available via Lyons Thompson Letts.

Batch was opened in Rhyl by ice cream company Fortes in 2019, but shut at the start of January.

The property is available on a long-term lease basis for £27,500 per annum.

Lyons Thompson Letts added: “The unit is situated mid terrace in a central parade, overlooking the car park with an area to the front for outside seating.

“Adjacent occupiers include Greggs and Pepe’s Piri Piri.”

Batch said following its closure: “Today is an emotional day for us as we share that Batch has now permanently closed.

“We want to say a huge thank you to every single person who has supported us over the years -whether you popped in for an ice cream, brought your family, shared kind words, or supported our small business in any way.

“Your loyalty, smiles, and memories have meant more to us than we can ever put into words.

“This decision hasn’t been easy, but we are incredibly grateful for the journey, and for each and every one of you who made it so special.

“Thank you once again for all of your support and for being part of our journey.”
