The Bank Holiday meant that there was quality and quantity in the Nova Parkrun as runners came from far afield.

Not only were there over 300 participants but 16 finished inside 20 minutes, one of the highest percentage ever achieved.

Joshua Hourihan (Stockport) quickly opened a big lead and was never challenged, while behind him Prestatyn Running Club’s Alex Ryder was engaged in a real battle with unattached runners Aaron Hill and Darren Shire before pulling c lear to take secondplace.
