A POPULAR pet store on Prestatyn High Street will close this month after more than a decade of trading.
Dudley & Friends has announced its decision to close, with its final day of trading to be March 28.
The store launched a 'closing down' sale earlier this year, with pet owners having just two weeks left to get the store's last products and give their dog one last grooming experience.
In a statement on social media, the business did not explicitly say why it would be closing.
"Thank you. It's with a heavy heart that Dudley's Pet shop will close the door for the last time on Saturday 28th March 2026.
"I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our loyal customers past and present, friends and family for their continued support and loyalty over the years.
"Wishing you all the best, Diane & Paula."
Since announcing the closure, the building has been placed on the market for £225,000.
Marketed by Peter Large Estate Agents, the building's listing says it "offers opportunities for numerous retail operations and a possible café or restaurant subject to change of use."
