A MEAT wholesaler based in Kinmel Bay was handed an improvement notice by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE).
RGB Webster & Sons Ltd, which is located on Tir Llwyd Industrial Estate, received the notice from the HSE in January, relating to its asbestos management practices.
The notice from the HSE read: “You have failed to ensure that a suitable and sufficient assessment has been carried out, as to whether asbestos is, or is liable to be, present in the premises, as no asbestos management survey was available for the site.”
A compliance date had been set for March 16, though the HSE has said the notice has been “complied with”.
RGB Webster & Sons Ltd was contacted by the Journal for comment.
