New operator sought for pub in Meliden following its closure

The Red Lion, on Ffordd Talargoch, shut earlier in February, having been run by the Devlin family.

It is owned by Stonegate Group, the UK’s largest pub company, and is available on a fixed-term tenancy, with a weekly rent of circa £650 and a forecast annual turnover of £404,272.

Stonegate Group describes The Red Lion as a “characterful village pub with food and letting rooms,” and a “well-loved, established business with strong local loyalty and steady tourist trade”.
