On this day in 2025, a police community support officer (PCSO) was commended at Prestatyn Police Station for his life-saving actions after encountering an injured man while on duty.
Ben Harmsworth received his commendation from Superintendent Lee Boycott.
The station, which opened in November, served as the backdrop for the event.
Superintendent Boycott praised Ben, saying: "Ben's actions and commitment to public safety will serve him well in his future career as PC Harmsworth."

Having only eight shifts left as a PCSO, Ben was gearing up to join the police force as a trainee officer, marking an important transition in his career.
North Wales Police extended their congratulations, adding: "Congratulations, Ben, and good luck with the next stage in your journey with North Wales Police."
