‘Stunning new development’ at Prestatyn park is set for 2026

Lyons Holiday Parks was given planning consent in March to demolish its existing sales, reception and offices building at Lyons Lido Beach Caravan Park, on Bastion Road.

Its proposal also involves the erection of a replacement building, to comprise a reception, sales centre, café/diner/kitchen, offices and decked terrace areas.

The development will include a new sports bar, an all-American-style diner, a lounge area, a modern reception, an outdoor terrace, and an ownership enquiries office to support prospective and existing holiday homeowners.

In an update on Sunday (November 16), Lyons shared some new computer-generated images of the development, and said it will be “transforming the park” from 2026.

A Lyons statement read: “We’re delighted to announce an exciting new chapter at Lyons Lido Beach, with a stunning new development transforming the park for 2026 and beyond.

“This investment includes a brand-new complex featuring a stylish restaurant and bar, a welcoming owners’ lounge, and a modern reception area designed to elevate your holiday experience from the moment you arrive.

“These new facilities will create a vibrant social hub where families, friends, and owners can relax, dine, and enjoy unforgettable moments together.”

Per the planning application documents, Lyons Holiday Parks intends to use the development to employ an additional four full-time and three part-time employees.

The company is also investing £1.5million into the Rhyl-based Lyons Robin Hood Holiday Park, including a new high ropes course, multi-use sports courts and trampolines, and go-kart track.
