A MAN from Kinmel Bay has been handed a fine and penalty points after driving in an Asda car park without a valid licence and insurance.
Liam Guest, 25, of Hafan Yr Ewyn, pleaded guilty on November 10 at Mold Magistrates Court to charges of driving without a licence and third party insurance.
He committed the offences when he was seen driving an Audi vehicle in the car park of Kinmel Bay’s Asda supermarket on January 13.
Guest was handed six penalty points on his driving record, as well as a £400 fine, a £160 statutory surcharge, and court costs of £130.
This amounted to a total payment of £690, to be paid in monthly instalments of £100 from December 1.
A collection order was made by the court.
