Rhyl's Spencer Wilding in horror movie shot in North Wales

PRODUCERS of a horror film shot in North Wales, starring Rhyl's own Hollywood star Spencer Wilding, are offering horror fans a chance to make it the best in can be ahead of its release on Blu-Ray and DVD.

Blood Stream is a horror anthology film in the vein of "Tales from the Crypt" and the "V/H/S" franchise, utilising practical effects and stunning special effects make-up. 

Through five shocking stories, Blood Stream combines themes of both body horror and folk horror in a thrilling gore-soaked package.

One of the chapters features Spencer, who has appeared in The Wolf Man, Guardians of the Galaxy, and as Darth Vader in Star Wars: Rogue One, in an imposing and chilling role.

Writer and director Mark Adams, of producers Hellbound Media, said: "As huge horror fans ourselves, we've been honoured to work with genre icons such as the legendary Spencer Wilding. Spencer been hugely supportive of the project, and getting to collaborate with him has really highlighted the sense of community that being involved in the horror world brings.

Mark also thanked Spencer's family for allowing parts of the film to be shot at their farm in Meliden.

The film also stars Human Centipede 2's Laurence R. Harvey, the Female Cenobite from Hellbound: Hellraiser 2 Barbie Wilde, as well as established horror actors Vicky Glover and Nathan Head.

Mark added: "With strong characterisation, twisted plots, dark humour, and stunning visuals, Blood Stream will offer a blood-splattered-yet-thought-provoking thrill ride that is more than the sum of its dismembered parts."

They are appealing to horror fans to help finish the project to its full potential while grabbing themselves some amazing rewards as well as exclusive behind-the-scenes.

Mark added: "We want to be able to finish the film to the quality we believe you deserve, adding more gory special effects to the finale, grading the footage, and organising a truly terrifying sound design and musical score. 

"These things are not cheap when done well, and we want to finance our amazing team completing the post-production at the highest possible quality."
