Taskmaster returns with a new series this week, and whether you want to start watching or are an avid fan, you might be wondering which comedians will feature.
Known for its hilarious moments, Taskmaster sees a group of comedians complete unusual but funny tasks against each other.
The first episode will see a variety of tasks that involve “codes, gym balls and disgusting noises”, according to the Radio Times.
Taskmaster’s new contestants will “test their daring, dexterity and dignity under pressure” and “look just a little bit silly too”, the magazine added.
Who presents Taskmaster?
Greg Davies will return to host the show appearing alongside his admin keeper Alex Horne.
They will be joined by five comics – here’s the full lineup.

The following five comedians will take on the Taskmaster challenges and aim to become a Taskmaster Champion:
- Maisie Adam (A League Of Their Own)
- Reece Shearsmith (Inside No.9)
- Sanjeev Bhaskar (Goodness Gracious Me)
- Phil Ellis (Phil Ellis is Trying)
- Ania Magliano (Live at the Apollo)
Previous Taskmaster contestants have included Katherine Ryan, Rosie Ramsey, James Acaster, Alan Davies and more.
Where is Taskmaster filmed?
The Radio Times shared the exact filming location for the Taskmaster challenges: “The Taskmaster house is filmed on the grounds and indoors of a property in Chiswick.
“Specifically, you can find the three-bedroom bungalow at Chiswick Bridge, Great Chertsey Rd, London W4 3U.”
The property was once a “groundskeeper's cottage inside a golf course.”
Interestingly, during filming, the Taskmaster crew actually live inside the Taskmaster house.
“We move in and live here for the period of filming,” director Andy Devonshire told the Radio Times.
“After season 1 I think they had some people come in and stay over the summer, but we de-Taskmaster it when we go away so it is very different.”
He added: “There’s a different theme inspired by a specific artist every series so there’s obviously things that stay the same but we redecorate within the boundaries of that. When we leave it’s quite minimalist.”
