A NEW takeaway opened in Rhyl’s town centre last week.

Paradise Foodz, at 10-11 Market Street, welcomed customers for the first time on Thursday, February 20.

The store held a free food giveaway until 7.30pm during its first day of business.

It has been opened by Christopher Cooper, 44, who also owns the Smokers Paradise shop on Market Street.

Among the items on the menu at Paradise Foodz are smashed burgers, fried chicken, loaded fries, and loaded crisp bags.

Paradise Foodz is open from 12pm until 10pm, from Thursday through to Tuesday.

Christopher is running a takeaway for the first time, but has worked in them since he was aged 14.

He said: “It's gone amazing so far; our first day was absolutely mental giving away free food, it's and been non-stop since.

"I can't wait to give Rhyl some good food.

“We want to keep everything to the lowest cost we possibly can, but we’re not going to scrimp and save on the ingredients. The meat is going to be 100 per cent pure beef.”
