More than 250 competitors represented Grŵp Llandrillo Menai in this year's Skills Competition Wales.
The group hosted more disciplines at its campuses than any other college has ever done before, according to a spokesperson: 23 disciplines were hosted at its campuses in total.
More than 250 of the Grŵp’s students and apprentices took part, across various venues around Wales.
The Grŵp's Bangor, Llangefni, and Rhyl campuses all hosted competitions, as did external venues.
Skills Competition Wales is an opportunity for participants to hone their skills to a high standard across more than 50 disciplines, as they strive to be crowned the best in the country.
Competitions span a range of sectors including business, construction, digital, engineering, health and social care, and hospitality.
At Grŵp Llandrillo Menai’s Llangefni campus, competitors from across Wales were welcomed in 14 different disciplines, including additive manufacturing, brickwork, carpentry, and electrical installation.
The Rhyl campus was the venue for light vehicle automotive technology, renewable energy, and vehicle body repair, while the new Bangor campus hosted the 3D digital game art category.
The Grŵp also managed competitions in photography at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David, and web development at the University of South Wales in Newport.
Competitors from Grŵp Llandrillo Menai also participated in disciplines such as beauty therapy, graphic design, IT, and welding, held at venues across the country, including Cardiff and the Vale College, Coleg Cambria, and NPTC in Newtown.
The results of the competition are yet to be announced, with the winners set to be revealed at a ceremony in Swansea on March 13.
The Grŵp will host watch parties at its Rhos and Llangefni campuses, where competitors will receive their medals.
Many of the competitors will go on to represent the Grŵp in WorldSkills UK competitions, with the chance to secure a place in the UK squad for the biennial WorldSkills international competition.
Grŵp Llandrillo Menai was successful at last year’s WorldSkillsUK Finals in Manchester, winning six medals.
This year’s WorldSkills UK Final will take place in Wales for the first time, at venues across South Wales.

"Our students have competed all over Wales this week, and we hope they’ll bring lots of medals back when the results are announced on March 13."
Skills Competition Wales is organised by Inspiring Skills Wales, a Welsh Government funded initiative consisting of colleges, work-based learning providers, and employer-led organisations which supports young people to achieve excellence.
