A NEW horror movie with a monstrous villain was filmed on location at a Towyn amusement park and the town's promenade.

Mouse of Horrors, which has been released on free-to-watch Tubi, and Knightlys Fun Park and the adjacent promenade make an appearance throughout.

Set in a quiet seaside town, a sinister doctor creates a monstrous mutated rat, causing terror for a group of friends trapped at an amusement park.

In the opening scene a woman is chased by the mouse-masked killer, weaving through the hook a duck and other stalls.

Although drone areas of Knightlys and the North Wales coastline are intercut with Liverpool's Albert Dock.

The film also stars Kinmel Bay actor Sadie Wagstaff in a supporting role.
