A MIXTURE of sunny spells and blustery showers have been forecast across North Wales ahead of the weekend.
The Met Office has forecast unsettled spells going into the weekend, with higher ground expecting sleet and snow over the mountains.
Coastal areas have received a flood warning issued by Natural Resources Wales, including the areas around the river Conwy and from Dolwyddelan to Conwy.
Later today (December 19), brisk temperatures will find maximum temperatures at just 8C. Showers will fade going into the evening with winds briefly easing. Overnight, cloud will build with patchy drizzle.
Tomorrow will see the start of the weekend mostly cloudy with rain gradually spreading southeastwards across the region which will clear into the evening. A maximum temperature of 10C.
On the outlook for Saturday to Monday, a spokesperson said: "Further rain or showers during the weekend and on Monday.
"Often blustery, and particularly windy on Saturday with coastal gales. Coldest on Sunday with notable wind chill."
