TWO PEOPLE that had been cut off by the tide in Rhyl last night (July 4) were rescued by the coastguard.
Rhyl's Inshore Lifeboat and Coastguard Rescue Team were paged last night at around 8.30pm to assist a child cut off by the tide, along with a member of the public who had entered to water to help them.
As the crew assembled, the Rhyl Coastguard Team, who were already in the area conducting training, brought both ashore.
The child was brought to the lifeboat station to "warm up".
