STAFF MEMBERS from a primary school in Abergele took part in the Race for Life in Rhyl last weekend.
The team from Ysgol Glan Gele, dubbed the Glan Gele Gladiators, raised more than £4,000 for charity, with more money still to come in.
They were joined by little Gladiators, sons and daughters of some of the members, with Eve, Grace and Oliver making the team “very proud” with their “fantastic” help.

The Glan Gele Gladiators won an award for the highest amount raised by a group for the event.
A spokesperson for the school said they were “all very proud of and look forward to taking part in more future events”.
They added: “The success has been celebrated within the school and the pupils have been learning all about the importance of raising money for charity.
