A BUSINESS in Rhyl is celebrating its first anniversary, after an “unbelievable” first year of business.
The Aesthetics Club, on Wellington Road, was opened last year by husband and wife duo Oliver and Simone Espley.
The business was a long time in the making, with Oliver training in aesthetics four years ago after a 20-year career as a barber.

Simone is trained in skin procedures, with both adding different skills to the shop.
With the help of nurse Crystal Fortune, the business is already thriving.
“I trained in aesthetics four years ago and opened the clinic a year ago - it’s now really taken off,” Oliver told the Journal.

“It’s been an unbelievable year business wise, and now have clients from all over the North West.”
The business excels in advanced anti-wrinkle injections, botox, skin boosters, profhilo ('beneath the skin' moisturising treatment), and medical aesthetics such as freeze liposuction and fat dissolving.
Oliver was influenced by his mother’s career in making the switch to aesthetics.

He added: “My mum used to be an aesthetics practitioner and I was always very interested in it .
“So I trained in Hale and Harley Street and became an advanced practitioner.
“We are hoping to add a wellness clinic side to the business this year.”
