A POPULAR pizza company in the Rhyl area has stopped its mobile service in the town, in a “sacrifice” to concentrate on other business.

Little Italy Pizza Rhyl, previously based at 41A Water Street before going mobile in September, has announced the end of its delivery and collection service in Rhyl – for now at least.

Scott Cheesman, who started the business from his home in 2018, was based at four different locations in Rhyl over the years, before settling on the mobile idea.

But due to commitments in Chester, where it is partly based, as well as events and private parties, he said it was “going to be difficult” to run deliveries and collections from Rhyl.

In a social media post, the owner said: “As most of you know I’m currently based in Chester 3-4 days a week which includes weekends.

Rhyl pizza company hits the big screen as business thrives

“With it being that time of year with events and private parties which I have bookings already it’s going to be a busy year so it’s going to be difficult to run deliveries and collections from Rhyl.

“So I have to sacrifice this side of the business to concentrate on other areas which will be beneficial.

“I’m putting this side of the business on hold for now but what’s important to me that it’s not fair on you the customer opening one weekend and not the next .

“So until the foundations of building a unit or renting somewhere locally are built I’ll be shutting deliveries and collections down as of this weekend.

“It won’t be for long as there is a plan in place to return in the near future.

“Apologies for any inconvenience and a big thank you for your support over the last couple of months, the feedback has been really positive.”
