A WOMAN from Rhyl is to celebrate the opening of her own salon in the town.

Casey Grigg, 31, will welcome customers to Bliss, at 45 Wellington Road, for the first time from 9am tomorrow (March 29).

The salon will then be open from Tuesday to Saturday.

She has worked in but never previously owned a salon, while her husband, David, runs Mister G’s Tattoo Studio in Rhyl.

Casey said: “We’re doing hair colouring, cutting, perms, nails, acrylics, lashes, eyebrows, and then, hopefully, extending to more things in the future.

“I just fancied a big change after working in childcare for the last couple of years. I did beauty stuff when I was a lot younger, and have now got back to it.

“My husband has his own business, so I thought: ‘Why not branch out and do the same?’.

“It’s going to be aimed at anyone and everyone, really.”

Casey will be joined at Bliss by colleagues Emily, 23, of a mum-of-one who has been a hairdresser for six years; and newly-qualified hairdresser Erin, 17.

She added: “We’re doing a special opening day tomorrow, with goodie bags for the first 10 customers, and cupcakes, so we’ll hopefully get lots of bookings.

“I’d like to say a special ‘thank you’ to my husband, David, my mum, and my best friend, Katt, for all of their hard work helping to get the salon ready.

“We're all excited to start this adventure together and make all our clients feel amazing when they leave the salon.”
