A UNIT at Rhyl’s White Rose Centre which was formerly home to New Look has been filled by a homelessness charity shop.
Ahava Community open its store in Rhyl on Tuesday (March 26), after the premises was temporarily occupied by a “pop-up” Halloween and Christmas shop at the end of 2023.
New Look closed its Rhyl store last July, with the charity shop to be a permanent addition to the White Rose Centre.

Ahava Community is an organisation which works towards ending homelessness and supporting individuals in crisis throughout the year.
It operates a Catalyst Night Shelter, which is open 365 days a year and provides refuge and essential services.
Currently, it has other UK charity shops in Romford, Grays, Canterbury, Dartford, Darlington, Kings Lynn, Scunthorpe, North Shields and Sheffield.
New Look’s departure from the White Rose Centre followed that of Iceland in March 2023, and Superdrug and Three the previous summer.
Stores currently open within the shopping centre include Specsavers, Sports Direct, The Works and Max Spielmann.
