Managing director Jake Gore said: " Everyone had a smile upon their face and was overjoyed that we had won, for a second consecutive time, the marketing and communications award, which is an astonishing achievement.

“Then, to come as a runner-up for the customer excellence award, just shows that the entire team’s efforts and dedication is being noticed, which makes me very proud of what we are achieving.

“As security officers and door supervisors, we are often overlooked and almost abused on a daily basis.

“Working in the security industry is often a highly demanding career, with many difficulties faced, from providing security at small private events through to close protection or bodyguarding and securing events with over 130,000 attendees or customers, and everything in between.

“It can be very dangerous and stressful, but to have moments of joy as such the Rhyl BID awards is a brilliant opportunity for us all to revel in the light of the company and the shining employees who make it such an amazing place to work and help us to continue to grow from strength to strength.”

Phoenix Security was found in January 2018, and has gone on to provide its 24/7 services across Europe.

More than 150 people attended last week’s awards, including business representatives from the finalists, their guests, dignitaries and partnering organisations.
