THE GROUP that runs a holiday park in Dyserth have defended the burning of wood that a resident said was "not great" for those with breathing difficulties.
A resident in Meliden slammed the Lyons-owned Dyserth Falls resort, claiming the holiday park had "decided to burn their waste instead of paying for it to be disposed of safely".
They alleged that this has caused the air to be "full of smoke" and was "not great for those with breathing difficulties".

Lyons said that the waste being burned was clean wood, for which they had received permission, and that all other waste had been disposed of professionally.
A Lyons spokesperson said: "It is clean wood that is being burnt and we have had permission.
"All other waste has been taken by Thorncliff, with more still being placed in skips on site for professional removal."
