A CONCERT billed as the “first contemporary bilingual gig in Prestatyn for years” has been cancelled the day before it was set to take place.
To celebrate St David’s Day tomorrow (March 1), Caernarfon-based band Kim Hon and Rhyl duo Bau Cat were due to perform, while DJ Pearl was also set to be part of the night’s entertainment.
It was meant to be held at Lola’s Bar, on High Street, but today (February 29), it was confirmed that it will no longer be going ahead.
It had been organised by Llais Prestatyn, a support group for Welsh language activities which has been newly formed.
