A BOWLING club in Rhyl is making plans for the 2024 season, with several teams to enter competitions.

Grove Park Bowling Club, off Lynton Walk, is making plans for the 2024 season in earnest, after essential grounds maintenance work was undertaken throughout the winter thanks to the efforts of its hard-working volunteers.

Grove Park will again enter two mixed teams in the respective local bowling leagues, namely the Clwydian Seniors League on Tuesday afternoons, the Clwyd League on Thursday evenings and the North Wales Coast League on Saturday afternoons.

In addition, Grove Park Ladies team will continue to compete in the midweek Clwydian Ladies League on Wednesday afternoons.

Grove Park’s fine green hosted important merit competition finals in the 2023 season while the club’s Annual Open Mixed Triples Competition has proved to be very popular with bowlers throughout North Wales and beyond.
