And Natural Resources Wales (NRW) is today warning that the effects of the storm are ongoing in some areas.

NRW say that communities, businesses and isolated properties along the River Dee including Erbistock, Plas Devon, Almere and Trevalyn Meadows are being affected.

The areas around the river Glaslyn and river Dwyryd, from Dyffryn Ardudwy to Nant Gwynant in Gwynedd is also being impacted, NRW say.

They add: "People living in those areas can expect river levels to be 'above normal. Flooding of low-lying land and roads is expected. Property flooding is not expected at this time, although some localised flooding problems may result from surface water.
