LOVING TRIBUTES have been paid to a popular man from Rhyl after his death.

Michael Walsh, known as Mike to many, was a successful businessman and popular figure in the town, and died on December 22, 2023.

With brother Sean, Mike set up Anglia NW Ltd in 1995, and saw the business grow into one of the UK’s leading home insurance repair companies, with more than 200 employees.

He was a well-known figure in Rhyl, with many noting his “selflessness” and “kindness” for his work with the town’s foodbank.

Others called him a “legend”, adding that it was a “pleasure and honour” to be in his presence.

Mike’s partner of 25 years, wife Judy, paid tribute to her “one in a million” late husband, and said: “It is with a very heavy heart and deepest sadness that I announce the death of my husband Mike.
