A PERSON has been taken to hospital following a crash which closed a road in Abergele this afternoon (December 19).
Police were called to reports of a crash involving a red Nissan on the the A548 between Llanfair TH and Abergele at around 1.20pm.
Police and Welsh Ambulance Service attended the incident, with one person taken to hospital.
The road has reopened after recovery of the vehicle.
A North Wales Police spokesperson said: "We were called at 1.20pm to reports of a RTC on the A548 between Llanfair TH and Abergele, involving a red Nissan Micra.
"Officers attended alongside colleagues from WAST and one person was taken to hospital.
"The road is closed to allow for recovery of the vehicle."
