A LAW firm based primarily in Rhyl has appointed a new solicitor to its criminal team.

Chloe Young, who previously worked in Chester, has joined Gamlins Law.

The nine-strong criminal law department was selected for inclusion in the prestigious Chambers UK Legal Guide 2024.

The guide described Gamlins Law, one of only five firms in Wales to be recognised, as “a well-established and reliable general crime firm”.

Dafydd Roberts, a Gamlins Law director and head of the criminal team, said: “We are delighted that Chloe has chosen to join Gamlins Law.

“She was highly regarded by clients at her previous firm and we look forward to her supporting clients across North Wales and elsewhere in the UK.

“Chloe’s arrival means that there are now nine members of the team including seven criminal lawyers, a senior legal assistant and a senior case worker.

“The addition of Chloe to the team also further demonstrates our commitment to recruiting the best legal talent including younger solicitors who are seeking to build their careers with a successful and ambitious firm.”

Chloe, who is from North Wales, previously worked in Chester for seven years, during which time she qualified as a criminal solicitor.

She said: “I have heard great things about the Gamlins Law criminal department and look forward to working with the team and also acting for clients in my home area of North Wales.”

Gamlins Law, which employs over 85 people, has its head office at Morfa Hall in Rhyl and further bases in Mold, Ruthin, Denbigh, Abergele and Holywell.

It offers legal services including commercial, commercial and residential property, employment law, family and matrimonial, children, personal injury and clinical negligence, criminal, regulatory, litigation, inheritance tax, wills and probate.
