A FIRE at a Rhyl school has resulted in parents being told to keep their children at home.
Rhyl High School has been closed today (December 7) after a small fire at the school.
A spokesperson from Denbighshire County Council said: "Rhyl High School has been closed today as a precautionary measure after a small fire was reported at the School.

"All pupils and staff were safely evacuated as per standard procedure."
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service did not attend the incident.
It is understood that the small fire occurred after a pupil's phone overheated.
