A FIRE at a Rhyl school has resulted in parents being told to keep their children at home.

Rhyl High School has been closed today (December 7) after a small fire at the school.

A spokesperson from Denbighshire County Council said: "Rhyl High School has been closed today as a precautionary measure after a small fire was reported at the School.

"All pupils and staff were safely evacuated as per standard procedure."
