AN INDIAN restaurant in Prestatyn has been named the best curry eatery in Wales.
Suhail Tandoori Indian Restaurant, at 12 Bastion Road, won the ‘Curry Restaurant of the Year’ category at the Welsh Restaurant Awards.
The business fended off stiff competition to take the award home, and was the only North Wales representative on the shortlist.
Suhail Tandoori is extremely popular, with a 4.5 rating on TripAdvisor after 750 reviews – the most recent review from earlier this month said it was “very pretty”.

A spokesperson for the 4th Welsh Restaurant Awards said: “This was another amazing opportunity for us to showcase the absolute best of the Welsh Restaurant sector.
“These Awards aim to provide a platform to those who have dedicated their career in providing us with delicious dishes across multiple cuisines in a timely manner and affordable prices.
