POP star Chico paid a visit to a pub and restaurant in Rhyl on Saturday (November 25) after helping to turn on the town’s Christmas lights for the first time in 2023.

The former X Factor contestant, who is starring in the “Jack and the Beanstalk” pantomime to be performed at Rhyl Pavilion Theatre called in at The Sun Verge, on East Parade, with his fellow panto stars.

Casualty star Amanda Henderson, and The Bill actor Graham Cole, also visited The Sun Verge, and were happy to pose for photos with staff members.

Earlier on Saturday, the Jack and the Beanstalk stars switched on Rhyl’s Christmas lights for the first time in 2023 at 4pm, along with the town mayor, Cllr Jacquie McAlpine.

Also featuring in the pantomime will be Britain’s Got Talent finalists Jamie and Chuck, and Hollyoaks actress Amy-Jane Ollies, as well as juvenile dancers from North Wales School of Dancing and Body Rock Academy.
