RHYL was compared to Jamaica in the new Netflix documentary series about singer Robbie Williams.
The documentary series, titled Robbie Williams, follows the singer as he explores his past, from his early years in Take That to becoming a world-famous solo star.

Along the way, the series shows old footage of Robbie in the hills of Jamaica.
When overlooking the hills, he asks the cameraman “Have you been to Rhyl? In Wales? It’s just like this” after the two had praised the beauty of the area.
It is well-known that the Rock DJ star spent time in the town when he was a child, but it seems those happy memories have stayed with him.
