A WOMAN in Prestatyn who launched her own “beauty room” in the town earlier this year has grown her business by offering more treatments and moving to a new premises in Rhuddlan.

Naomi Marsh, originally from Rhuddlan herself, opened “Nai’s Beauty Room” within Venus Skin Clinic in May, but has since re-located to Paige’s Beauty Bar, on Gwindy Street.

Focusing on the “relaxation side of beauty”, Naomi offers a range of treatments including full body massages, manicures and pedicures, and marked six successful months of business last week.

She said: “I have trained in new treatments, and hope to use these to benefit the lives of others through massage.

“I’m now trained in perimenopause massage, for those coming up to or going through menopause, as well as oncology massage for those who suffer with long term-illness and going through treatment for cancer, and manual lymphatic drainage massage for post-surgery clients.

“I also have three new treatments available - jelly mask facial and jelly belly pregnancy facial for baby bumps, gua sha face scalp massage, and dermaplane.

“I’m now based in Paige’s Beauty Bar in Rhuddlan, which I am super happy about, as Rhuddlan is my home town and I have wanted to work with Paige for many years.”

Naomi’s business is also sponsoring Kinmel Bay Reserves footballer, Owain Roberts, this season.

Her opening hours at 8am – 2.30pm on Mondays, 1-9pm on Wednesdays, and 10am – 2.30pm on Fridays.

She added: “My main love of this is the healing side of massages, not just the relaxation aspect. I actually want to make people feel better, and almost get help in a non-medical environment.

“It’s gone really well since I moved here. I’m back to back all week, and have had to add an extra day to fit everyone in. I’ve got a bigger room, and the atmosphere is really peaceful.

“The later day on wed is just to fit around people; a lot of people work ‘nine-to-five’ jobs, so by the time they finish work, most places are shut.

“It’s just nice to be able to offer it late on a Wednesday, or earlier on a Monday, for people who have the time before or after work.”
