THREE bridges in a park in Towyn have been replenished with the help of grant funding from Welsh Government.
The pedestrian bridges, in Towyn’s Tir Prince Country Park, underwent work to install new boards and handrails, as well as having non-slip surfaces added.
A Conwy County Borough Council spokesperson said: “We've refurbished three pedestrian bridges in Tir Prince Park, replacing boards and handrails and adding non-slip surfaces.
MORE: Fresh fountain to 'enhance' Towyn park area
“This work was funded by an Access Improvement Grant from Welsh Government.”
Last year, a new water fountain was installed on the small lake in the park.
This follows other enhancements brought to the area such as solar lighting, picnic benches, seating, flower beds, trees and planters.
