A COUPLE from Abergele have celebrated starting up their own utilities and finance company.

“S2S Utilities and Finance” has been created by Chris Baxter and Laura Beesley, who moved to the town last year having previously lived in Old Colwyn and Penrhyn Bay.

Operating as a “mobile business”, the couple will look to help people and businesses save money and time on their bills.

Laura said: “We help businesses to save money and time by supporting them with various products and services.

“The biggest savings for your type of business would normally be on card machines, energy and telecoms.

“If you’d like us to have a look for you, we don’t charge any fees - we get paid directly from suppliers for finding you great deals.”

Chris, who has previous experience of working in the energy industry, has said the first few weeks of the business have proved extremely busy and successful.

Anyone interested in contacting S2S Utilities and Finance can do so via its website at: www.s2sutilitiesandfinance.com.

You can also get in touch via Facebook, Instagram, email, or by calling its landline number on: 01492 244100.

Chris added: “I’m mobile, so I’m out and about working - I go and see customers, and then I do my work from home.

“I spent a few years working with businesses in the energy industry, which is where this all stemmed from, really.

“I always enjoyed helping customers to save money – some people are on good deals, but some aren’t, and if you help people save, you get a good reputation from that.

“We’d wanted to do this for a few years. We offer a completely free service where we’ll see if we can find you a great deal.

“We’ve had a really good start so far; we’ve been very busy wITH it. We’ve got a few deals on the go, and have saved people some really good amounts of money.

“It doesn’t happen overnight, but there are loads of quotes and prospects building up, too.”
