A HOTEL in Prestatyn has been nominated for a North Wales-wide tourism award.
The Beaches Hotel on Prestatyn’s seafront has been shortlisted for the final in the ‘Large Hotel of the Year’ category at the Go North Wales Tourism Awards.
The four-star establishment underwent a £3.2million rejuvenation project in 1991, after which it became part of the Castle Group and was renamed the Beaches Hotel.
It is the second consecutive year they have been nominated in the awards, with a ceremony next month to name the winners.

Upon receiving the nomination, a spokesperson for The Beaches Hotel said: “Well this is exciting - for the second year in a row, we are finalists in the Go North Wales tourism awards 2023 for Go Large Hotel of the Year.
“This is all thanks to our fantastic general manager, Sacha, every member of the team at The Beaches Hotel and of course our amazing guests.
“It's your glowing feedback in reviews and on our socials which have helped us to be nominated again.
“A huge thank you to you all - we are deeply honoured and look forward to the awards evening!”
