A “VERY special beach” clean in Kinmel Bay will be caught on camera by ITV Wales later this week.

Organised by the UK charity Marine Conservation Society, this will take place at Horton’s Nose between 5.30-6.30pm on Thursday (September 28).

There are nine spaces remaining to fill the 30-volunteer quota, with an “exciting opportunity to be on TV” for those who take part.

Marine Conservation Society said: “Don't miss out on an exciting opportunity to be on TV this week while helping us clean up our seas!

“Join us for a very special beach clean at Horton's Nose, Kinmel Bay where we will be joined by ITV Wales.

“The event will include a one-hour litter survey and clean-up of a section of Horton's Nose beach.

“All equipment will be provided, but if you do have your own gloves for litter-picking, please bring them. If not, we will have plenty to provide.

“Make sure to dress for the British weather. This may include a waterproof jacket and layers to keep warm.”

The meeting point for the event is outside the Harbour Hub café.

You can register for the beach clean by visiting Marine Conservation Society’s website.
