A TAKEAWAY in Rhyl has been handed a new food hygiene rating of one, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.
Mr Khan’s Indian and Filipino Cuisine, at 13 Kinmel Street, received the score after assessment on August 15.
The inspection report rated the business’ management of food safety ‘major improvement necessary’.

This refers to the system or checks in place to ensure that food sold or served is safe to eat, evidence that staff know about food safety, and confidence that standards will be maintained in future.
The takeaway’s cleanliness and condition of its facilities and building and hygienic food handling were rated ‘improvement necessary’.
Mr Khan’s has a TripAdvisor rating of 3.0 after 11 reviews, with the most recent in October 2022 saying “absolutely beautiful place and food ”.
Mr Khan’s were approached for comment.
