A ST Asaph takeaway has been handed a new one-out-of-five food hygiene rating, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.
St Asaph Kebab House, at Glan Clwyd High Street, was given the score after assessment on August 1.
The report into the business rated its management of food safety ‘major improvement necessary’, and its hygienic food handling and the cleanliness and condition of its facilities and building ‘improvement necessary’.

The kebab house has a TripAdvisor rating of 4.0 based off 20 reviews, with the most recent in January 2021 saying it was “great value for money” and “one of the best takeaways around”.
It means that of Denbighshire's 103 takeaways with ratings, 53 (51 per cent) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
St Asaph Kebab was approached for comment.
