A HOTEL in Rhuddlan is to hold an end-of-summer event later in August to raise funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity.

The fundraiser, at Rhuddlan’s Premier Inn hotel, will take place on August 26 from 10am.

Claire Jones, from Premier Inn Rhuddlan, has helped organise the event, which will feature tombola’s, guessing games, soft drinks, children’s goody bags, and more.

Premier Inn has been supporting Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity for more than 10 years now, she said.

“It’s such a great cause and I’m looking forward to raising as much money as possible,” Claire added.

Laura Savory, head of community events at Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity said: “We’re so grateful to Claire and everyone at Rhuddlan Premier Inn for their generosity and support.

“The money raised will help to make a difference to seriously ill children from across the UK.”

Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity helps to provide care for young patients and their families by raising money to support some of the hospital’s most urgent needs.

These include pioneering new treatments and research, providing specialist equipment, and supporting the refurbishment of the hospital to provide facilities to match the hospital’s care.
