MEET the new mayor of Towyn and Kinmel Bay.
Cllr Louise Formston has been elected as the new town mayor for 2023 / 2024.
Cllr Formston has lived in Towyn for 20 years and has served as town councillor for the past 18 months.
She is married to Andy and has a stepson called Joshua.
She is also school governor at Ysgol Y Foryd.
Cllr Formston said: "I would like to say how honoured I am to be elected mayor for Towyn and Kinmel Bay Town Council.
"I have worked for the past six years as a Business Development Manager for a complex Care Agency.

"I love volunteering in our community, especially with the schools. Recently I have been involved with environmental projects, such as litter picking to help keep our community clean.
"In my spare time I enjoy walking around Tir Prince Park, Towyn with my pug Marcie.
"I would like to pass on my thanks to the outgoing mayor cllr Geoff Corry for his service to the community, and his valued support to me as his deputy."
