A NEW business that centres around self-care and wellness is opening in Abergele.

StudiOMG is the new home of OMG FABULOUS which covers a number of pillars - from life coaching to beauty.

Melanie Gizzi, who aims to help women 'feel fab on the inside and out', is the founder of the business. A grand opening is being held on Saturday, May 13. Attendees are welcome to arrive from 11.30am.

Cllr Alan Hunter, mayor of Abergele, and Cheryl Hunter, mayoress, will carry out a ribbon cutting at midday.

Melanie, who wrote book A Guide to Being OMG Fabulous: How to get started when you realise you want more from life, said: "StudiOMG is the new home for my business OMG FABULOUS, which covers a number of pillars, from life coaching, beauty, a women's membership, publications on Amazon, all centering around self-care and wellness. As a survivor of corporate burnout, mental health issues and dealing with years of fertility treatment, I've learned lots of tools to help with coping with the struggles of daily life, and I share them with the hope of making a difference to others.

"The new premises has a treatment room and a studio space which is super exciting."

The premises will be the home for monthly public Dementia Friends Information sessions, which Melanie used to deliver (pre-covid).

Melanie added: "The vision is to deliver classes and workshops here, including beauty academy, self-care and mindfulness workshops. As well as attract guests to the site to share their areas of expertise.

"We already have had an interest from different instructors in yoga, tai chi, Qi Qong, crochet, meditation and menopause to name a few."

StudiOMG is based on 1 Water Steeet, Abergele.

Attendees on Saturday will be able to enjoy discounts on OMG FABULOUS ®️ goods and there will be an opportunity to chat, mingle, raise a glass and eat cake.
